Lori Sanders grew up in the San Joaquin Valley. She has her degree in writing from CSU Long Beach. She holds a single subject, CLAD, and multiple subject K-8 credentials. She is a trained Link Crew Coordinator and is credited for implementing the first Link Crew freshmen transition program in the Central Valley in 1997. She is a Dale Carnegie Leadership graduate. She began teaching at Porterville High School in 1991. Her main focus is on improving the academic climate and helping students. She currently teaches the ELD Beginning class. This class has shown dramatic growth in student performance. She also teaches Senior English: Film As Lit.
